Alaska has long been known for spectacular fishing. Aero Expeditions would like to offer something unique: multi-day, guided fly-fishing (and spinner!) experiences in North America's largest untouched watershed, the Noatak National Preserve.
The Noatak region comprises over 6.5 million acres of ragged peaks, desolate tundra, skirts of boreal forest and thousands of lakes, rivers and streams. Home to Chum Salmon, Pike, Grayling, Char and the mythical Sheefish, a week in this area will likely lead to sightings of Moose, Bear, Wolves, Caribou, Musk Ox, Wolverine and Arctic Fox, but no people. So little is known about this region as it has been notoriously difficult to access, until now. Simply fly on Alaska Airlines to Kotzebue and we will take it from there.
Whether you're after massive Salmon or Sheefish on large green rivers, stalking Arctic Char and Grayling in gin-clear tributaries or searching for monster trout or pike on one of Alaska's three million lakes, chances are good you will catch a lot of fish against a stunning backdrop and make memories to last a lifetime.
